Dear MPS Patients, Families, HCPs, Scientists, Industry representatives and general attendees,
We contact you regarding the current situation with Covid19 and its impact on the normal development of the 16th International Symposium on MPS & Related Diseases planned for this summer.
Over the last weeks, we have been monitoring the coronavirus situation closely and, given that this is an unprecedented situation whose development is hard to foresee, after careful considerations the International MPS Network and MPS Spain have decided that the safest option for all the attendees is to postpone the Symposium for 2021.
Protecting the health, safety and well-being of MPS Patients, their families, and all the other attendees is paramount and at the heart of the decision to postpone the MPS International Symposium.
Although new dates have not yet been defined, they will surely fall around the same weekend next year. New dates will be confirmed as soon as possible. We look forward to your attendance at the Symposium in 2021.
In the coming days, we will contact all attendees who have already registered and reserved their accommodation for this summer. Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you don’t receive an email from us in the next few days.
We thank you for your support and understanding of this decision that has been adopted with the aim of protecting the health of all the attendees.
The Scientific Committee has also extended the deadline for Abstracts submission until April 8, in order to offer everybody the opportunity to become part of the scientific program.
The abstracts selected for Poster or Oral presentation will be compiled to be published in an Abstract book of the 16th International Symposium on MPS & Related Diseases.
We are looking forward to receiving your proposals!
